This is a shout out to one of our EduPunxer who is presenting at the WCET conference on Thursday
WCET is ( taken from their website) a membership cooperative of institutions and organizations dedicated to advancing access and excellence in higher education through the innovative use of technology. http://www.wcet.info/2.0/
So everyone is in Denver OCT 21- 24. The twitter hashtag for the conference seems #wcet09 but of course make sure to search for wcet also. #wcet09 doesn't seem to be getting much play at the moment.

Communicating with students is both easier and harder with the advent of multiple communication channels. University websites aimed at attracting new students to campus need to engage in blogging as part of the experience. Then when classes are underway, email is easy to lose. How can instructors and administrators harness new short form media to connect?
