“International Talk Like A Pirate Day” is September 19 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Talk_Like_a_Pirate_Day. If adventures on the High Seas sound appealing, Front Range will be sponsoring an event on Saturday, September 19. The Fine ARRT of Being a Pirate will take place on Front Range Island in Second Life. It will begin at noon MT (11 am SLT) with a Boarding Party (Orientation), Getting Your Sea Legs (Moving in a Virtual World), Articles of the Ship (Pirate Themed Sessions) and Raiding Party (Shopping in a Virtual World). Come learn about Second Life, pirates and bring your class if you like.
