Event Description

If anyone is interested, the annual Educause conference http://www.educause.edu/E2009 begins tomorrow November 3 and runs until Friday November 5. If you would like to follow the twitter backchannel and see 140 character reports from the conference, the conference hashtag is #educause09. What may also be interesting is there will be an attempt at a live twitter chat on Wednesday at 11:40 am MT. While the two speakers (debaters) will be in a room at the conference, they are encouraging people at the conference and people not at the conference to follow their hashtag #edtwitter and tweet their comments. This presentation is supposed to be a point/counterpoint in using twitter for education.

Discussants are W. Gardner Campbell, Director, Academy for Teaching and Learning, Baylor University and Bruce Maas, Chief Information Officer, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee
